Aux confluents de l’Akiawenhrahk
After Yahndawa’, the exchange project that we conceived on the banks of the river that connects the artistic communities of Wendake and Quebec City, we felt that the relationships we had created allowed us to move forward with new projects in a spirit of alliance. We were thus at the confluence of the Akiawenrahk, the river that unites us, with the opportunity to continue working together to cultivate relationships for a better coexistence between our artistic communities, and more broadly between Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples. Since 2023, various initiatives and activities have been taking place in this vein.
This exhibition was made possible thanks to the Cultural Development Agreement between the Government of Quebec and the City of Quebec.
